Welcome to VintageMX Canada, a place to hang out if your VintageMx crazy like myself, after riding modern motocross bikes year after year, I was looking for a change, something different to ride and race, after seeing many of my friends restoring vintage bikes. I suddenly got the itch to have one. I never had the opportunity in my youth to race these classic's, I find the bikes very unique. A friend sold me a great 1979 YZ400 and the restoration started. That’s when I really got hooked, once finished it was a work of art (in my eyes anyway.) A few of us started to race the Vintage Class at the Old Timer events and it was the most fun I’ve had on a bike, the passion became stronger after each vintage ride.
It’s exciting to be involved in a restoration and then be able to enjoy the labor of your efforts on the race track or just a good old fashion trial ride.
VintageMX Canada is here for us grassroot racer's, enthusiast's, the real hero’s of our sport, the working class guys who race and ride for the true enjoyment. VintageMx Canada is not a club, a private site funded completely on my own with the goal to grow VintageMX to the point of hosting Vintage Motocross meets.
This site is designed for all ages, my goal, is for you to be drawn to Vintage motocross, my hobby, my passion, a life style, what ever turns your crankshaft.
